Random Thoughts

While engaged in a shower yesterday, I thought of a few things I wished I had back-in-the-day that now seem trivial in my present life. When I was like six or seven, I wanted a pogo stick. Now, if I were to bounce on a pogo stick, I'd fall on my fat ass. In the day of lore, I also wanted a yellow, robotic-and-mobile piggy-bank that, once you placed a penny or a nickle in its mouth, it acted as though it were munching it down for a snack. Afterwards, it would lick its robotic lips, then die (or stop moving until you placed another coin upon his tongue). Back then, IT....WAS....AWESOME! Today, not so cool since I've been seduced by the Nintendo DS, and a robot that eats coins can't compare to video games. It's a good thing I did not waste money on such commodities, otherwise, it would be a waste, and that coin-eating robot along with his pogo stick friend, would be sold-off or under a washer on top of the Hutch landfill.
